Skippered Charter: J 105 "Absolutely"
The 35-foot J 105 is one of the most popular sport boats in our fleet for good reason. Admirable speed and a wonderfully balanced helm have created a boat which is manageable across a wide range of conditions and great fun to sail. Loaded with family, friends, or a full racing crew, the J/105 will leave you smiling.

Sailing World Magazine's panel of experts selected J 105 as Boat-of-the-Year among racer-cruisers in 1992. Since then over 600 have been launched worldwide. Racers find the J 105 an excellent platform for testing their skills and challenging some of the best sailors in the world.

The J 105 is a fun boat for a skippered day charter. No pitching, no rolling about and no panic drills. Gone are feverish routines of course and sail changes. It has an asymetric spinnaker which adds to the ease of sailing downwind.  Jibing is a one person operation; simply let go the old sheet, then trim in the new one. The retractable carbon fiber bowsprit tames the spinnaker, while launching the boat to great speeds.

J 105 has the stability, rig and sail controls to handle 15-20 knot winds without the need of reefing. It has the strength and seaworthiness necessary for coastal passages.

Her large cockpit combined with a simple interior layout results in a boat that's easy to handle yet comfortable in waves and a lot of fun for its size.
